PHANTOMS OF THE SKIES The Lost History of Aviation from Antiquity to the Wright Brothers J. Allan Danelek and Chuck Davis
It has been traditional to teach school children that Christopher Columbus discovered America, that Charles Lindbergh was the first man to fly across the Atlantic and that the Wright Brothers invented the airplane. Time has since taught us that the first Europeans to touch foot on the continent of North America were the Vikings and that Lindbergh was the 85th man to cross the Atlantic by air. Would it be any more remarkable to learn, then, that the Wright Brothers' brief flight in December of 1903 may not have been the first successful flight of a manned, heavier-than-air powered machine?
This book tells the true story of aviation as it evolved from mankind's first primitive attempts to fly to the remarkable successes of the early twentieth century in a non-technical and fun way, designed to impress upon the reader that the history of aviation is richer and more remarkable than they ever imagined. It is, also, a tribute to the men - and a few women - who laid the foundations that made not only Kitty Hawk possible, but Von Zeppelin's great dirigibles a reality as well.
Most of the names and events mentioned in this book are known to only a handful of aviation enthusiasts and practically unknown to the general public, making this work an important recounting of the lost history of aviation that demands to be told. Some of it is controversial, parts of it are contentious and some of it is even speculative - but all of it is a valuable insight into an era when men dared to dream great dreams and bet their lives on the results. Many times they paid dearly for such presumptuousness, but without their sacrifices, the safety and ease of air travel we enjoy today would not be possible.
PIRATES AND THE LOST TEMPLAR FLEET The Secret Naval War Between the Templars & the Vatican David Hatcher Childress
Childress takes us into the fascinating world of maverick sea captains who were Knights Templars and later Scottish Rite Free Masons who battled the Vatican and the Spanish and Italian ships that sailed for the Pope. This Lost Templar Fleet was originally based at La Rochelle in southern France but fled to the deep fjords of Scotland. This banned fleet of ships was later commanded by the St. Clair family of Rosslyn Chapel (birth place of Free Masonry). St Clair and his Templar made a voyage to Canada in the year 1298 AD, nearly 100 years before Columbus! Later, this fleet of ships and new ones to come, flew the Skull and Cross Bones, the symbol of the Knights Templar. They preyed on the ships of the Vatican coming from the rich ports of the Americas and were ultimately known as the Pirates of the Caribbean. Topics include: 10,000 Years of Seafaring: Secret Society of Navigators; King Solomonis Phoenician Navy; The Assassins, Templars & the Decapitation Strike; The Knights Templar and Their Fleet; The Rivalry Between the Knights of Malta and the Knights Templar; The Suppression of the Templars; The Lost Templar Fleet and the Origins of the Pirates; Pirates and the War Against the Vatican; Pirate Utopias and the New Jerusalem.

RATLINE Soviet Spies, Nazi Priests, and the Disappearance of Adolf Hitler Peter Levenda
On a research visit to Indonesia in 2008, famed author, Peter Levenda, heard a rumour concerning the alleged escape of Adolf Hitler. As someone who has written extensively on the Second World War, he was not impressed with the conspiracy theories that Hitler had survived the War and fled to Argentina, among other possible locales. He was prepared to dismiss the theory out of hand, until he saw information contained in a dead man's diary that mentioned the single name "Draganovic." At that point, the author became convinced there was a story worth investigating.
Draganovic is not a name familiar to most people. A Roman Catholic monsignor during the War, Draganovic was a devoted Nazi who would create the "monastery route": a so called “rat line” that would enable SS officers and other wanted war criminals to escape justice using Catholic monasteries and churches as safe houses in Europe and Latin America. Why would this name turn up in a document written in a spidery German hand in a remote island in Indonesia?
The mystery deepened and the author returned to his own roots hunting Nazis in North America, South America and Europe. He revisited old contacts, made some new ones, and gradually the explosive story was revealed: there is no forensic evidence to prove that Adolf Hitler died in the bunker in April 1945!
As he began his research, more information came to light: In December of 2009, it was revealed that the skull the Russians claimed was Hitler's -- salvaged from the bunker in 1945 -- was not that of Hitler! In 2010, files from the Office of Special Investigations of the Justice Department were declassified, revealing a history of American intelligence providing cover for Nazi war criminals.
REICH OF THE BLACK SUN Nazi Secret Weapons & the Cold War Allied Legend Joseph P. Farrell
Why were the Allies worried about an atom bomb attack by the Germans in 1944? Why did the Soviets threaten to use poison gas against the Germans? Why did Hitler in 1945 insist that holding Prague could win the war for the Third Reich? Why did US General George Patton's Third Army race for the Skoda works at Pilsen in Czechoslovakia instead of Berlin? Why did the US Army not test the uranium atom bomb it dropped on Hiroshima? Why did the Luftwaffe fly a non-stop round trip mission to within twenty miles of New York City in 1944? This book takes the reader on a scientific-historical journey in order to answer these questions. Arguing that Nazi Germany actually won the race for the atom bomb in late 1944, the book then goes on to explore the even more secretive research the Nazis were conducting into the occult, alternative physics and new energy sources. The book concludes with a fresh look at the Nazi Legend of the UFO mystery by examining the Roswell Majestic-12 documents and the Kecksburg crash in the light of parallels with some of the super-secret black projects being run by the SS. This book is must-reading for the researcher interested in alternative history, science, or UFOs.
REVELATION OF ST. JOHN The Path to Soul Initiation Lansdowne, Zachary
he Revelation of St. John, the last book of the canonical Bible, has been a mystery since it first appeared. No other part of the Bible has caused more controversy. Traditional interpretations of the book fall into one of three categories: the major prophecies that are supposed to have been fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.; the historical view that Revelation predicts the course of human events from the founding of Christianity to the end of the world; or the futurist view that Revelation predicts events that will occur at the end of the world.
It's actually none of the above, writes Zachary F. Lansdowne, a leading expert in the field of spiritual initiation. In the Introduction to this rich and complex interpretation, he writes, "According to its own verses, the Revelation is concerned with the present time, which is whatever time we happen to be reading it, and contains information that we can apply immediately to become blessed."
This is not a book about "end times" or Armageddon and when it might come. This is a book written entirely in symbols, concealing a path for early Christians, and for the contemporary reader. Lansdowne has applied a unique psychological method of interpretation that takes each symbol as depicting some aspect of human consciousness rather than an eternal event, thus showing that the Revelation is actually a detailed instruction for the spiritual journey--a map to the wakening of higher consciousness. Moreover, while the Revelation appears in the great lineage of Judeo-Christian tradition, Lansdowne shows that its instruction can be appreciated and applied to seekers from any tradition.
Lansdowne's line-by-line and verse-by-verse interpretation--presented here in an easy-to-read side-by-side format--is a manual for the true seeker who would follow teachings of Jesus as they were and are laid out, rather than as they have been interpreted by theologians and biblical historians. The Revelation of St. John, when unlocked by the key of psychological methodology, is revealed to contain ideas from many diverse wisdom traditions and philosophies--archangels in Judaism, chakras and kundalini in Hinduism, Buddhist mindfulness, the redemptive power of love in Christianity, and absolute standards of comparison in Platonic philosophy. Zachary Lansdowne's revelatory text makes these teachings of the path to true soul initiation available to seekers from every spiritual tradition.
The Rosicrucian Emblems is a significant yet little-known work of emblematic philosophy published in 1617, only one year after the appearance of The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz.
The work consists of 40 emblematic plates, each bearing a title, together with a verse from the Bible and two lines in Latin. The plates revolve around the symbolism of the heart, which undergoes a variety of processes and experiences through a cycle of 40 stages.
Adam McLean, in his introduction and commentary, elucidates the history of the text and the nature of the symbolism. He convincingly argues that Cramer, a Protestant theologian, was consciously trying to produce a series of spiritual exercises for a Protestant, esoteric Christianity. McLean outlines a way to work with the emblems and their symbolism and suggests that "a work as profound and as simple as this can never die, but must always be a source of inspiration."
This book is a Rosicrucian item of great interest and will be greatly valued by all students of emblematic philosophy and the Hermetic tradition. Highly illustrated.

ROSICRUCIANS The History, Mythology, and Rituals of an Esoteric Order Christopher McIntosh
This scholarly work traces the mysterious Fraternity of the Rosy Cross, from its inception upon the discovery of Father Christian Rosenkreuz's perfectly preserved body in a seven-sided vault to present-day organizations in America. McIntosh includes a survey of Rosicrucianism in America, exploring the latter day survivals of Bacon's New Atlantis. Perfect for students of the Western Mystery tradition who want an introduction to Rosicrucianism, with good resources for further study.
SACRED NUMBER AND THE LORDS OF TIME The Stone Age Invention of Science and Religion Richard Heath
Our Stone Age ancestors discovered that the geometry of the Earth provided a sacred connection between human experience and the spiritual worlds. Exploring the numerical patterns of time and then the size and shape of the Earth, they created an exact science of measures and preserved their discoveries within sacred structures, spiritualised landscapes and mythologies, which interpreted the religious ideas associated with their science. In this way, the ancient measures of space and time reached our present age and still embody the direct, but forgotten, truths of our sacred planet.
By recovering the megalithic secrets of space and time, carefully preserved in megalithic stone structures, Richard Heath tells an untold story of four megalithic ages. He identifies a first age of astronomical discovery in the French sites around Carnac, where the ancients created a sophisticated cosmic clockwork. A second age centered in Britain, successfully measured the Earth and revealed a simple pattern held within the Earth's shape. A third age, centred in Egypt and Greece, saw a perfecting of the monumental arts, associated metrology and religious ideas. The fourth age saw pyramids and other metrological buildings spread to the New World, at Teotihuacan in Mexico and, also, to the Far East.
Examining Earth's harmonic relevance to the Universe as a whole, Heath shows how we can recognise the long-forgotten foundations of our own civilisation and revive the sacred teaching preserved by the four great megalithic ages.
· Examines the sacred knowledge carefully preserved in the stone age structures of Carnac, Stonehenge, Giza and Teotihuacan · Shows how our stone age ancestors created a practical system of mathematics, sophisticated enough to discern cycles lasting up to thousands of years · Reveals how the earth's shape and proportions mirror the time cycles of the heavens above
SACRED TREASURE - THE CAIRO GENIZAH The Amazing Discoveries of Forgotten Jewish History in an Egyptian Synagogue Attic Rabbi Mark Glickman
In 1897, Rabbi Solomon Schechter of Cambridge University stepped into the attic of the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Cairo and found the largest treasure trove of mediaeval manuscripts ever discovered. He had entered the synagogue’s genizah - its repository for damaged and destroyed Jewish texts - which held over 300,000 individual documents, many of which were over 1,000 years old. Considered among the most important discoveries in modern religious history, its contents contained at least a version of one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, early manuscripts of the Bible and other sacred literature. The information the genizah revealed rivaled that of the Rosetta Stone and by virtue of its sheer mass alone, it will continue to command our attention indefinitely.
SACRED TREASURE - THE CAIRO GENIZAH is the first comprehensive account of this astounding treasure trove of documents and their discovery. It will delight readers with its fascinating adventure story - why this enormous collection was amassed, how it was discovered and the many lessons to be found in its contents. And it will show readers how Schechter’s find, though still being “unpacked” today, forever transformed our knowledge of the Jewish past, Muslim history and much more.

SECRET PRACTICES OF THE SUFI FREEMASONS The Islamic Teachings at the Heart of Alchemy Baron Rudolf Von Sebottendorff, Founder Of The Thule Society
Translation and introduction by Stephen E. Flowers
· Shows how this order, also known as oriental Freemasonry, preserves the ancient spiritual doctrines forgotten by modern Freemasonry · Explains how to transform the soul into the alchemical Magnum opus by combining Masonic grips and the abbreviated letters of the Qur'an · Includes a detailed biography of Baron von Sebottendorff
Originally published in Germany in 1924, this rare book by Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff reveals the secret spiritual exercises of the Bektashi Order of Sufis as well as how this order, also known as Oriental Freemasonry, preserves the ancient spiritual doctrines forgotten by modern Freemasonry. Sebottendorff explains how the mysterious abbreviated letters found in the Qur'an represent formulae for perfecting the spirit of the individual. When combined with Masonic hand signs and grips and conducted accordingly to a precise schedule, these formulae incorporate spiritual power into the body and transform the soul from its base state into a noble, godlike state: the Magnum Opus of the mediaeval alchemists.
Laying out the complete programme of spiritual exercises, Sebottendorff explains each abbreviated word-formula in the Qur'an, the hand gestures that go with them and the exact order and duration for each exercise. Including a detailed biography of Sebottendorff and an examination of alchemy's Islamic heritage, this book shows how the traditions of Oriental Freemasonry can ennoble the self and lead to higher knowledge.
SECRET SOCIETIES Their Influence and Power from Antiquity to the Present Day Michael Howard
For thousands of years secret societies - guardians of ancient esoteric wisdom - have exercised a strong and often crucial influence on the destiny of nations. Though largely ignored by orthodox historians, the Freemasons, Knights Templar and Rosicrucians affected the course of the French and American Revolutions as well as the overthrow of the mediaeval feudal order. Inevitably, the true ideals and esoteric practices of these societies have, at times, been perverted by self-serving individuals. The Nazis and the Bolsheviks, British security forces, the founding fathers of America and the Vatican have all justified their actions - for good or for ill - by claiming the mystic ideals of secret societies. Michael Howard explores these connections, tracing their effects in politics and statecraft from the time of ancient Egypt up to the present. He sheds light on the influence of secret societies on governments and in the lives of many well-known figures, including Frederick the Great, John Dee, Francis Bacon, Benjamin Franklin, Comte de Cagliostro, Helena Blavatsky, Rasputin and Woodrow Wilson. He contends that the recent formation of the European Union was directed by an umbrella group of secret societies and reveals that, though secret societies have been persecuted throughout history, they have survived and continue to operate powerfully in world affairs today. New edition of The Occult Conspiracy. Michael Howard lives in Devon.
SECRET SOCIETIES Illuminati, Freemasons, and the French Revolution Una Birch & James Wasserman
This book is an invitation to the secret world behind the veil of daily events. In its pages you will meet the legendary Cagliostro and the Comte de Saint-Germain as they travel through the royal courts and Masonic lodges of eighteenth-century Europe, fomenting Revolution and working to overturn the social order of their day. Alchemists, magicians, Illuminati adepts, mystics, and Freemasons joined forces with politicians, journalists, scientists, writers, philosophers and libertines in a movement that forever altered the cultural landscape of Western civilization. Inaugurating two centuries of revolution and upheaval, the French Revolution of 1789 put an end to the concept of the divine right of kings, led to the formal separation of church and state, destroyed the remnants of medieval feudalism, and heralded the values of the Enlightenment as the triumphant banner under which the modern world would be born. Yet it was accompanied by a level of violence whose ferocity spoke more of an exorcism than a political restructuring. What lessons does the Revolution hold for us today? Do the forces of secret societies and silent conspiracies continue to influence the world? Historian Una Birch's classic account was originally published in 1911. Her proximity to and sympathy with the events offer a unique perspective. Secret society expert James Wasserman has made this work accessible to the modern reader with extensive annotations, a history of the Revolution, an introduction that places the Illuminati in context, and biographical sketches of the main participants.
